WordPress is taking a while to get the hang of….

This is the wisdom that I have gleaned from EDUC 394 on Monday September 14.

It is important to model your strategies so learners can align with them.

It is important to make ideas into questions so that don’t come off as preaching or judgment.

Look at your mindset: Stay positive

Be prepared: Plans take as long as delivering the material : Minute for minute.

Try to practice feedback with 2 Aha’s and 1 Hmm (Two stars and a wish)

Key learning from the Palmer reading: Know who you are, Understand yourself, Be outward facing, Share your thinking, inspire from your passions, keep it fun!

The 3 parts of this course: Pedagogy: What is needed for teaching? Curriculum: What is BC’s Curriculum? Teaching: What is Apprenticeship by observation?

A Book was read aloud to the class entitled “What’s my Superpower” by Aviaq Johnston. It was about finding our own talents and sharing them. I will include a link to the book and the children’s book publisher.
